With the do-it-yourself (DIY) Black Sapphire breeding kit, you can cross your own Blue Sapphire OE ("Black Sapphire") strain with orange eyes through simple breeding steps. This is a more budget-friendly option than buying a starter group from the high-grade colony.
Basic Shrimp Information:
- 4x OE Black Sapphire mid grade males
- 6x Blue Sapphire high grade females (at least 2 females with back stripe)
Size and Gender
- Size: Sexually mature. Males are about 1 cm in size, while females are about 1.5 cm, so mating can begin immediately.
- We catch the males with the best of intentions, but we cannot rule out the possibility that one of the animals might turn out to be a female later. We therefore do not guarantee the sex of the males with the orange eyes.

We open presales every 3 months, allowing for quarterly group buys from our partnered breeders.
What happens if the minimum order quantity isn't reached?
If we don't reach the minimum quantity, we'll inform you and either refund your payment or, with your permission, move your order to the next presale window.
How do you ensure the quality of the shrimp?
We exclusively partner with award-winning, certified breeders from countries like Taiwan and Germany. We also visit the facilities and ensure the imports are authentic. Each listing includes detailed information about the breeder's credentials and the shrimp's lineage.
What is your live arrival guarantee policy?

How long does shipping take?
Shipping times depends on the option you choose at checkout. There are options for 3 day, 2 day and overnight.
